Margaret has organised every reunion since 2001: the invitations, the seating, the marquee when it rains, and the famous spreadsheet of who brings what. Cousins joke that the family runs on her stationery — and nobody is entirely joking.
She also leads the birthday circle, making sure every member — all one hundred and twenty — gets a card signed by the whole branch. Her January birthday opens the family's year, and we celebrate it accordingly.
