The man with the camera
Thomas filmed everything — birthdays, weddings, Tuesday afternoons — on a succession of cameras he refused to upgrade until they fell apart. Half the footage in our family archive has his laugh behind the lens.
His bonfire nights each October were legendary: one long story, one secret recipe cider, and sparklers for every child no matter how late it got.
